Carrying a 1-3 record, ZUS Coffee enters the match still searching for the form that powered the Thunderbelles to a runner-up finish in the Reinforced Conference.
Their campaign so far has been uneven, highlighted by a five-set win over Akari but followed by a four-set loss to Creamline that exposed late-set execution issues.
Against the Cool Smashers, Chinnie Arroyo led the scoring with 18 points, while Fiola Ceballos continued to provide all-around support alongside Thea Gagate and Riza Nogales.
Ceballos’ activity on both ends has been important for ZUS Coffee, particularly in floor defense and extended rallies.
Still, the Thunderbelles know production alone will not be enough. Improving composure in closing situations and tightening coverage have been key focus areas as they look to stabilize their performance.
ZUS Coffee also expects to face a confident Farm Fresh side that recently snapped a two-game skid with a dominant sweep of Galeries Tower, adding urgency to the matchup in a tightly packed standings race.
